Hi Xray Team,

I am new to 1/12, and Xray is my first car. ( like it 100% as I building it) I got the mirco servo SANWA SRG-HR and cannot fit it driectly into the Xray X12 chassis with the provided silver servo stand posts. The Sanwa servo Dimension is : 27×12.1×30.5mm
It there a way if I can use the Xray #376216 Graphite Center Servo Mount + Alu Stands - Set (Micro) to install this servo and get the servo CENTER right.

I cannot find the dimension for this servo mount to comfrim. Please help.

Thanks,
Aki

I havent worked with the x12 yet, but can it even take the tweak free servo mount? Does it have a middle hole between the two normal standoff mounts? I ask because the battery is more forward than the XII and I don't know if that leaves enough room.

I've the X12 and the Sanwa SRG-HR Micro servo.
You have to drill new holes to the chassis (I did so) and use double sided tape as also sand the servo saver that it doesn't go under the chassis.
For optimal weight balance, in my opinion, that servo should be aligned to the right.
So, the chassis isn't ready for a MICRO servo, a Mini servo (like Futaba 9602 / 9650) fits fine.
There is something wrong with the manual, it states "we recommend using an micro servo for 1/12 pan cars".

The servo also comes with a fiberglass "mounting shim" to put it to a holes which are designed for Mini servos. I didn't figure that out so I drilled new holes to the chassis.

Peakki, Thank you so much for your idea and sharing your experience.

It seems that my friend and me both wasted money and get the wrong "Mirco" servo instead of "Mini". (We buy the new X12 and the servo together)
Hope everyone see our case and not being trick by the mannual again.

I may need to buy another Futaba 9650, cause I a bit afraid drill on the chassis.

If anyone know there are other method can mount the Sanwa mirco servo, please kindly let me know.

Thanks again.

If you want to use the servo's you bought you don't need to drill holes, just use some servo tape then use shoe-goo around the edges of the servo to secure it to the chassis. This is how I have always mounted my servo's in my X10's and I have never had an issue.

Migigu

Can you post a blueprint or diagram in scale of your adapter?

Hello

Sorry for my late report!

I'm going to measure the adapter, but not today.

I give thee modest when I have the mass!

Guys,

sorry for the confusion, the word "micro" should not be in that sentence. We will remove it ASAP
