i use my fastrax set up guages to check settings on my xray t3 2010 after each weekly club night camber, caster, toe in on rear is fine but how do i know front wheels are straight to set up the 1 degree toe out required on the front ?

i HEARD that:
when you "push" just a little bit your front wheels you shuld have 0* and when you push them outside you should have 1*
i only hear this
i didnt have a shot to try this

the guy which is riding on kinda set up was 1st :>
so i think its good

with a little sidetabs to the plexi gauge on the side you measure it will settle
by doing so it's getting consitent to me

The simple way is to...

Measure the toe on one side, and then without moving the wheels, slide the guague across and measure the other side. If the total does not measure the toe you want, then adjust one of the sides until it does. You can then use steering trim to centre the wheels.

The longer way (which I do every 2 or 3 months)

Take off the steering links and set them to the same length, ie as in the Instruction manual. Refit and adjust the length of the link from the servo saver to the servo horn until the toe readings are the same. Then adjust the steering links on both sides to get the desired toe.
