XRAY - Model racing cars

I noticed that every 5 - 10 mins run my left rear hub always tend to loosen by itself...
I have tried tightening the screw very tight but it will still be the same...
Is there any method to secure the rear hub so it won't loosen by itself during run?

you running the metal Axle or Composite ?

Have you tried replacing the screw first and also you could put a small amount of thread lock on the screw to make sure it's not just virbrating loose.

The only other sugguest I would make is with the alloy axle sand a tiny little amount of coating where the screw sits to make sure surface is rough to help stop scew slipping.. it may be you need to scan screw tip as well so keep that in mind.

You do also have to tighten the screw quite firmly but no to hard or you will strip thread.

Since I've done this I had no problems with it coming loose. I used to have same problem with a different GT I ran and found this to be a good cure for the problem.

I had the same problem and I solved it by using the dremel with a sanding disk one of the hard ones, both sides abresive. This enabled me enlarge the opening between the two halves of the clamp, so that when screwing the screw in the two halves are not touching each other.

I think the problem comes from the clamp sides coming completely together and by doing so not producing enough grip on the axle.
