I heard somewhare that these: will also fit the XT8-09. Is this true? And is there perhaps a better, less expensive alternative? And would you more experienced racers say these are just excess weight or worth the extra fifteen bucks? I have spared no expense on my Truggy thus far no sense in stopping now.... ![]() |

I dunno...those mud guards seem like they would kind of slow you down with wind resistance especially on straights. I wouldnt even buy them unless you were just a basher who wants to keep the truck free of debris cuz on the track I doubt you would really need these unless its a rainy muddy day and the track is sloppy. |

We are working on stone guards but just like other tests it takes time. So until things are finalised for specific custom made guards i would suggest using lexan & make your own for the time being. They do work when conditions are bad, as they save filling up the rear wishbones with mud & protect the shocks & driveshafts keeping them allot cleaner. There is no significant effect on wind resistance or speed |

If you have any friend flying heli's they use fiber carbon blader ask him to give an old one crashed, they are thin and very good looking |
