I tried that setup. On the same track as its local to me. Its probably fast for someone with skillz... But I didnt have enough to drive it well. Just too loose feeling for me. And how he drives it with bowties on that surface is just crazy to me. I prefered a more forgiving setup personally, but like I said, to somone with skillz its obviuosly fast. PS. I'd like to see that video too! Please post a link if you can. It was an awesome race to watch in person, I'd love to see it again. I'd like to try and spot myself sitting on the edge of the track at the end of the high speed sweeper. I actually think the only reason that Josh lost that race was tires. He was looking really fast and consistent for about the fisrt 15 minutes or so and I slowly watched his truck get looser and looser and he slowly lost more and more ground with little bobbles when it got a bit out of shape. Mayfields truck looked the same and consistent from begining to the end of the race. His tires looked like they worked very well though the whole race where Josh's tires appeared to fade significantly. |

Pickle I know you from the rcuniverse threads....Im malice23 lol. Sure heres the vid... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzR0JafB ... r_embedded ...watch as maifield hits him and then he loses composure. I think maifield was running crosshairs from jconcepts and Im running those tires myself...they have a verrry long life. Very good grip, Wheeler shouldve used different tires I guess. What setup do you guys find the most easy to drive? I have my truck set up like the swiss champions truck right now but I havent tried it as of yet. The truck sits real low though Im afraid Ill be bottoming out alot that way. |
