cold weather cause the plastic arm brittle? No way. I played in Hongkong under 26+C. The front arm was no luck from not breaking that no other buggies would be like when hitted. I think crash is more serious than hit so my MBX5 "crashes even more seriously" but its front arm get no harm. I don't think the shorter lower front arm of MBX5 should be in advantage on counteracting more lateral force, but its plastic rear suspension mount may be the case that the metal one on XB8 may be too strong to react much the lateral force back to the arm and cause it broken even just a hit. The worst thing is when the front arm broken the arm pin will also be bent, and even more worst the shock may be damaged as well. I tried to boil the arm so as to soft it as many did, but no help. I knew some people might add vinegar to boil. Sounds justified but should be no help as well. Another interesting is about void in the middle of the arm skeleton being found on all my broken arms. Is it another reason causing the arm weak? |
