if you run 10.000/5000/2000 or 7000/4000/2000 it will pull the buggy over ruts and curves when you get on the trottle and you should have enough offpower less easy in S chicanes |

Post subject: | Front 41th Gear Question.... |
Guys, I have my 10 spec comming real soon and fortunatley, it will come with the 41th gear for the front. Is this gear intended for the active diff only? Can I use it with the stock front diff? I dont have the active diff, just the gear. What will this gear do for the car? More off power steering? Less on power steering? Will I lose rear traction? Can the car be driven harder with this gear? What diff combo would be ideal on a med to high traction track? I usually run 5k 5k 3k everwhere. It seems to work very good for me. thank you! |

Brian The active & std 41t gear is different so cannot be interchanged , the active gear is clearly marked so cannot be mistaken. How it works is in FAQ link half way down page. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=64&start=20 If you decide to purchase a specific std 41t gear run your std oil or 553 is a good start. Or the complete active normally 3k is a good start point. |

7/5/3 or 7/5/5 should do what your looking for. I love useing the active diff with 120 segments, 43t ring, and 1/7/3 or 1/5/3 or 1/5/5. |
