it will help -just really look at where it is touching and dremmel it bit by bit. i did it to my hubs and not the arms. i think the arms would weaken too much but david seems to think the opposite? i think there is way more on the hub that can be taken off. i have broke a arm and it wasnt even modded,so i just cant see taking any off of it. dont let the shocks extend too far so they will break pistons. i just took it off both sides of the hub and it dont take much. |

Take little on both , but only a little bit at one time, if it it need more disamble it again and take some more, you must grind a little bit on the outside of the hub and /or the a-arm because it will hook on the outside if you not do it. For extra long droop dont screw the damper foot all the way in on the shaft and then place a o-ring above the foot to protect the diaphragma when damper is fully compressed. You must also grind a bit on the steering knuckles to have a smooth feeling in the steering all the way with so much droop. Use a Dremel and a marker pencil to grind on the right spot and it cant go wrong. |

XB8Racer - The droop mod is great on rutted out tracks, but high traction tracks and especially small tracks I run close to 22 or 24 so the car reacts quicker. |
