What is different between the front active diff and the center? Could a front be used in the center with different outdrives and spur gear?

Finally. I should think that this will work really good in electric conversions because it they only have braking on the spur gear so with this the front will get more braking than before.

Would be interesting to try it out in my nitro car, but considering how much they cost the one front active diff I've got will have to be enough for me.

You could put the center AD outdrives and the AD spur gear on a front one and you should be good. We are getting the AD diff gears in, but for some weird reason we didn't order the AD center outdrives...

Anyone know with segments will come, probably going to be less than 90 degrees, I think that will come with 60 degrees.

The centre active as std comes with 90 deg segments & a 42t spur

I think that this will have a problem when going down a bumpy track as it will be looking like its being slammed down side by side with the loose wheel coming to a stop in mid air. It would be the same as when you go over a jump and put the brake on, the front end drops. Well this would be when the left side lifts it will drop and vice verser. It will be horrible to drive in the dry but better in the wet.
