Post subject: | Please Help I Need More From My P5 |
hi i am after some more performance from my P5 that i have just finished running in and am currently tuning with my picco efra 069 i want to get a new tuned pipe i am thinking of the nova 3005 and using a long manifold to get a strong bottom end and could i go up 1 tooth on the cluch bell for more top end and outright speed i want to make one fast buggy !!! I have the P5 with the standard plug does anyone know if i could put a turbo button head and plug on and if so what is the advantage of it and i have seen a odonnels cooling head with button and plug for cheap what plug type do they use and would you recommed this http://www.end-of-line-rc.co.uk/index.p ... ductId=402 Also if i installed some ceramic bearings on the engine would make a big difference to the performance back to the pipe which one of these is best for my P5 as i have allready decided that i want a Novarossi pipe but which one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0355584286 or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0357776859 or any other Novarossi pipe Combos you would recomend i need to keep up with my dads OS Speed 21 sorry for all the questions but i only wanted to do one post any help with any of my questions would be much appreciated Thanks in Advance |

Ok i would like a turbo head but is it a direct bolt on (is the button and plug the only different parts in the turbo engine compared to the standard engine) also will my bottom end pipe and gearing it up work well Thanks |

Yeah, as long as you make power to pull the higher gear, you'll be fine, but you'll only gain so much speed mechanically... You just have to find the right button with the correct offset, for a P5, I am not sure which one it is... |

i ran the car today in a car park and the top end is ok but it is allmost as if at top speed the engine has a bit more to give as in it still revs more nut no pull so do you think 1 tooth on the bell will help me out |
