Another thing to notice is that a lot of people here use Xray oils which according to this table are way off from normal viscosities we've used to. So be a bit careful when "copying" different shock setups. I run 40wt on the 808 all around with 1.4 holes front and 1.5 in the rear. This is equivalent to 1000cts Xray shock oil which no-one ever uses!! ![]() |

I run 808 shocks on my XB8 too and our track just re-opened with a new layout.....now I'm having problems with the rear bottoming out too. I was running 40wt AE oil, silver springs, and 1.4 pistons all around (I believe) and it just wasn't working with this new track. So the hunt begins for a new setup. I figure I'll probably go to 1.3's in the back and move to the light blue springs all around and see how that goes. |
