Here's a pic of my linkage. I like running the carbon brakes on straight metal pads. I set them up just like buggy (depending on the track) 90% of the, the rear is setup to nearly lock and I set the front up to barely not lock-up. |

How about too much front brake causing a flip or nose wheelie when track gets beatup with braking bumps at the end of the straight. Thats how I set my brakes when I hit a new track. If the back end gets light in morning practice I back off 3/4 to a full turn before the heats & if it blows out in the heats maybe 1/2 turn after round one. Not a lot of my group are heavy brake users though,were mostly sportsman(inarticulate finger) guys. |
