I'm going to find this hard to explain... The centre driveshaft that is...do you guys place anything over your shafts to prevent dust/debris getting into the diff case or pins in shaft? Or do they make CVD boots for the centre drivehshafts? The actual driveshafts from the diff outdrives are well sealed by the diff case ![]() Sorry, found that hard to describe...have a look at your diff case, the centre shaft is what I am talking about, LOL Bazza ![]() |

While it's wet i pack gorilla snawt on the face of the bearing so it seals the casing from water washing straight in. Before i did this, a few days after a wet race i took a gearbox screw out of the bottom of the chassis and water drained out, not good. |

Hmm, I'd prefer Xray to bring some out but not at Xray prices ![]() ![]() ![]() Don't think I would want to be chopping my fairly new buggy about, to fit a rubber cover over the shafts, I'd rather an authentic Xray boot which fits snugly ![]() |
