I'm using the RC8 shock boots. Tried on Hong Nor, Losi and HB D8. RC8 seemed to be the better choice. Make sure it's the rear (longer) ones. They fit all round on the 808. |

Any problem with the rc8 boots ballooning up? When I ran that car I,& everybody I knew that run it had to cut a hole at the bottom of the boot in the back or we had a problem. We were trying lots of crazy things to make those crapper shocks work though.I think the worst was when we had a shock piston on the outside at the bottom of the shock shaft near the spring retainer. Yes I know crazy but factory recomended so you may not see the ballooning, just a thought. |
