You have yourself a nice xb8 ec there. I don't recognise those shocks but they look good. 2 piece engine mount enjoy

Looks to be in great shape too. The chassis still looks good (Low wear)

Take it all apart, clean it, inspect it for damage or worn parts. Replace if needed, then race it, and have fun

Hey matt looks like the downstops is the same thickness as the chassis i think what would they look like if they were tapered

yeah I'd say it was a TQ. If you look in the Tips and Tricks thread there is a "More Downtravel modification" about halfway down the first page and it has some pics of the modification. On the original XB8 and the TQ it was something we had to do manually but on the EC it was done at the factory so its an easy way to tell what buggy you've got. I have 2 XB8R's and a TQ that I still run all the time. I have yet to actually break anything on any of them (knock on wood)......and with as poorly as I drive that's saying something.....

How much different is the XB8 and the TQ
