I also use the ICE, I think its a descent charger. The only minor thing is the dial"o"wheel gets dirt in it and crunches a bit when turned. Very minor though. |

I use the checkpoint version of the ICE. People warned me about the dirt in the wheel, but I got it because it looks cool, matches the rest of my stuff and a bunch of people were happy with them. If I had to buy another one, I probably wouldn't buy it because after the two seasons I've had it, sometimes I can hardly get the right setting I want with the all the dirt in the selector wheel. |

Rocco blow gun on air hose after every weekend when cleaning car. I do feel your pain mine does it too & I bought mine when they first came out & that wheel is super sensative/worn out like you said. I always stare at the screen for a bit after charging starts now. It doesnt take long to melt a nickle pack when that sensative wheel changes settings to a lipo model as you push it in. I'm just glad this was the one time I took the batt out of the car to charge. |

I hear that. I showed up to a race and had to setup a radio LiPo and two different starter box lipo's along with a buddies AAA receiver pack and I was about to throw that thing in the trash. I seriously walked in the hobby shop and looked to bu a new charger... But that was just the once. Other than that, it hasn't been that bad, but I wouldn't buy another! haha |

[quote="Butcher"]Nice thing about the ICE is size & price.1/2 the price of my HYP duo & is smaller, fits perfectly in my tackle/tool box I shouldnt complain about the dial much as it has been beat up a little, enough that the chassis or main alum box what ever its called is warped. It wont sit flat,& people complain about their 808 arms warping those are only $6.[/quot Remember the Duo is 2 chargers in one box |
