I'm getting the play where the cilinder enters in the dog bone,in other words,i've got play between the cilinder and the dog bone!

I wouldn't worry about a little bit of play between the drive shafts and diff out drives. Mine have got flats on them, but it doesn't have any effect on performance at all. Although you can feel a little play when you manually rotate the drive train, what it equates to in real terms is a millisecond delay between getting on power or braking. You would never notice it no matter how big the flat spots get. All you need to be concerned about is the pin wearing so thin it becomes weak.

That said, I've seen a friends car that's been run pretty much every weekend since the 808 was released that still had life left in the pins!

look at the tiny pin that goes through the cylinder ..if its marked which it prolly is replace it they are cheap for a pack of ten . your cdv end that goes through the hub has 4 holes in it so you can rotate it and use the other 2 holes this extends the life . if you do not grease these after every race meeting the wear rate will be quicker .. i grease mine and change the pins every 90 mins of run time ...... the cvd set up is far easier on the pocket than the universal.....i have over 20 meetings on my shafts with only pin replacements and it wouldnt have cost me 10 quid all year ..........

For a joint like this you would probably want a wax based lubricant like a dirt bike or mountain bike chain lube. You will have to reapply it often but it will prolong the life of the joint.

Rocco I was put on to a product called 'dry ice' for bearings and gears. Petro solution with some sort of lubricant in it. The petro base de-greases the bearing and pushes dirt particles out, then evaporates and leaves a dry lubricant on the bearing, thus does not attract dust. It is working super good so far. You won't believe how much the bearing free's up after treatment. I local b-team xray driver showed it to me. He is still running the factory bearings after running nearly every weekend since the first release of the 808, so he is nearing 20 race weekends on his factory set of bearings.
