If you run a setup (like mine) do the whole thing. I run 5-4-3 in my diffs. With our truck being a little shorter than the rest, you will have to run a lower diff oil to keep the rear of the truck behind the truck. I think every sportsman driver with an XT8 in the main at the RC Pro Series Finals ran my setup or something really close to it and couldn't asked for more from their truck. I never liked the higher wt diff oils in the center of my truck it makes it too hard to drive and it doesn't do what I want when I want it. |

Haha, right on!! I use this setup pretty much everywhere. With a 28, huh? Hmmmm, never tried it. I had a modified Max Power 8 port turbo in my truck since last week, and it had STUPID power without an issue with the diffs. I would try these diffs first, and if it's diffing out BAD, I would raise by 2k, but I wouldn't go too high. |
