i ran the EC for a year and never broke a thing, However i did bend the front turnbuckle a few times in the season but thanks to xray i still finished my race. The EC is one tough buggy i think i went 9 meetings back to back with out a failure. |

All i can say is we still run the EC its one tuf chassis my lad likes it more than the 808 just suits his driving style and with all the alloy hop ups on its a very strong buggy, doing major meets and practise he has only broke a wing mount and one front arm, with a set of big bores this is still a great chassis... |

I broke it once and that was because a car hit me head on and broke the upper arm. ALL Xray products are of the best quality and not easy to break. So for a newbie it be fine mate. |

If it's above 60 degrees outside its will never break unless you harpoon the thing into a block wall or something like that. Practically indestructable! |

Like i said in my above post these things are tough as nails great platform, and to be honest im holding off on the 808 because i think the drive bearing problem should be fixed with a different version, Just dropped a set of Nanda 16mm big bores in the EC and gave the buggy a new lease of life dropped a set on the XT8 as well.... The Quality of these shocks was excellent, They are a direct fit on the Truggy and the EC all they need is a spacer on the top stand off post on the fronttower of 1.5mm to give the clearence to the adjusting cup washer..... Part # for these are BB2153 a great upgrade for your EC.... |
