I am running his prototype now. It allows the center dif manitnence from the top like the stock diff mounts. Here are a couple pictures. If you dont want to wait for the newer 808 version, the motor mount that I linked to above will work perfectly in the 808 if you use a center dif upright from the XT8 with it. I ran it that way for months before getting this updated version. The battery tray us pretty much universal and can be placed wherever you want it on the left side of the chassis, forward or back to get the weight balance an dhandleing how you want it. |

The RC-monster doesnt sell it as a complete kit. You buy the parts you need separately. The motor mount and the battery box, etc... The battery box I linked to above is pretty much universal and should work with any buggy or truggy. Then you buy the motor mount for your particular buggy. I dont think anyone else sells an Xray motor mount currently or an 808 specific battery box. The stuff I linked works great so no worries. |
