This is not a complaint as I'm very pleased with my 808. I have delaminated 2 front shock towers in the corners down to the shock mounting holes. Can these be repaired? Is there any way to prevent this from occuring other than driving better or on less rough tracks? Anyone else delaminated the carbon towers or am I just unlucky? The solution is to buy aluminum, however, I can't get my hands on any. Thanks in advance. |

I just looked at mine it hasn't even worn through the ca yet. Been to 10 races with it so far and several gallons. What kind of surface do you race on ? |

Did you prep the towers as suggested, ran it in rain or water? I haven't seen any issues with any of my CF parts yet... Tech tip for those who haven't seen or done this yet, I do this for every piece of CF on every car I build. http://www.teamcrc.com/crc/modules.php? ... =0&thold=0 |

Actually it’s real hard to read this way Vic unless you are dead center, I was thinking of switching it around so I could see Xray on both facing it.. (??) Personnel opinion I guess.. Much like E & Nitro what ever works / floats your boat!.. Have a great one.. P.S. Jono, Nothing but good old Yankee ingenuity LOL. LOL |
