Thanks to all those that are truly trying to help and not insulting. Bren - Thanks for putting up a setup sheet on the NORC track. I will try it before putting the BridgePort to the Aluminum hubs. Here is the track I am talking about. http://www.dmspeedway.com/track.html Any more suggestions would be appreciated. |

+1 on dremeling the c-hub to get more throw. I also use the aluminum knuckles which has a more recessed joint. That and 7K diff oil in the front, I can steer inside any truggy out there. PS I also use the Proline LPR series of tires. |

Be careful Ralph, it looks like you're from KS and run on a typical American track... Dremel the steering hubs, c-hubs, arms and the back of the upper pin holder to get more steering throw. [See pics below] And copy this to the 'T'. I live and race here in TX, so our tracks should be similar. Steering throw mod on my old buggy, but the same principle as the truck... |

Ralph Be carefull as Rocco says this because norc track setup i posted is for the uk track which is astro turf. If it was a dirt track my set up would still be the same, just decide your driving style & work on setup from there. Remember though guys posting about using thick diffs drive on power & this helps to pull truggy around in the corners. If you drive in an off power style like me go thinner diffs Bren |
