I've been running the stock chassis braces and a cut motor mount (for more flex) and haven't even had trouble with that. You just have to make sure your gear mesh is loose. I don't think it is absolutely necessary for you to change the gears together, but it would be better if you did, as they do wear together. It's kind of like a chain and sprocket on a dirt bike, if you change just one, it will accelerate the wear on the new component, so you change them together to get better life out of both. But then again, if I make a change in diff oil, I usually have two diffs, and just change the oil in one, and swap them out, so this voids the wear together idea, haha.... |

FYI Another XT8 driver at the local track broke the front bevelgear exactly where i broke mine. It happend when landing just after a jump. |

And still no good advice what to do. I always leave no slop in the input 10T gear. Maybe we should leave there a little slop? |
