after many many attempts to cripple this car and beat it into submission i finally did it..i put a split/break in the front shock tower just above the bulkhead bolts ![]() noticed it was broke just before the final but couldnt change it as we didnt have another so hoped for the best..altho it could be flexed backwards it still hung in there for the whole final! this car has took some serious abuse and it has just bounced(literally) back at me and kept going..we saw 3 truggies(all losi) get broke yesterday at the meeting and a couple of buggies too..huge jumps landing from well over 6-7 foot high onto flat ground making a huge chassis slap but it kept going ![]() bruce won the meeting and i finished 4th..im sure i could have pushed for 2nd if the tires hadnt gone off..why didnt i change them for the final doh! that was the most brutal meeting ive been to for jumps and car punishment and the car is still as tight as my wallet! just got to get a new front tower now and shes all good to go. loving it! dave |

That's positive to hear. Most of the things I have read lately have been about broken bearings. I plan to put my new car on the track for the first time on wednesday. First half of the season I was running an Ass Rc8, but I didn't like it. Not working with it and not on the track. I already like working with the 808. The quality is just as good as the Mugen I have been running for several seasons. Hopefully I will like driving it as well. I couldn't find enough rear-grip with the Ass, no matter what settings I tried. I have read some people are haveing the same problems with the 808, but hopefully it will not be as bad. |

the 808 has plenty of rear traction..even when the grip is low you can still punch it out of corners and it goes straight. |
