Can't wait to run these two in, should be sweet mills. I'm going to throw the 5 port in the 808 and the 8 port in my XT8. Anyone have any experience with either of the two? |

I ran a Max Power M5 and it was great...at 5 gallons I still could not turn it over by hand (dropped plug wire hammered it though:(). The most power I got was the 1005 pipe with long header (I would get a low end bog with a short header with that pipe). As mentioned 9886 pipe with long header works well, as does the 9853 (which is what I ran most of the time). I averaged about 8-9 minutes per tank. It was my favorite motor I have ran...very smooth, linear, and fast...with the 1005 pipe on there there was not a motor in another truggy that could pull it down a long (150 ft) straight. I will say that I feel my GRP tuned 21 seems to have a bit more power (all throughout) and longer runtimes then my M5 had, but I would not hesitate to pick up another M5 if available |
