XRAY - Model racing cars

Making good progress on the build of my XB8.

Few things that I cannot resolve however. Really appreciate some expert help!

- I have a Top P5T engine. Versus the manual and other pictures I seen of completed XB8s - the engine came supplied with the carburetor facing the wrong direction. Can anyone confirm if this is simply a matter of unscrewing and turning around?

- I also have a Nova Rossi 52058 Pipe and Manifold kit, and the hole towards the outlet end, where the kit is supplied with a wire prop to keep the pipe up is too small. In other words the allen-key style wire is too wide to fit. Has anyone else experienced this problem and how did you deal with it.

This is where some additional integration advice from XRAY would come in useful.

Just turn the carb around thats pretty normal to have to do

i had to dremel(grind) the end of the pipe hanger to get it to fit in my os 2050 pipe

yeah i flipped my carb....no probs

the wire supplied was also too fat for my pipe (RB 086) so i just used a thinner wire i had from another pipe
