the more broken parts xray gets the better chance they have to improve the breed. if that statement is correct then he is more than justified in posting.xray is more than capable of analyzing a part and figuring out if it is normal ware and tare or if it needs to be adjusted in some way. |

And this is the only way to improve the car. Sponsored team drivers can only give minimum feedback on the durability of the buggy. It's the average driver(s) who don't drive like the PROs that will put this buggy to the test as far as reliability is concerned. And these drivers aren't just a few ![]() ![]() |

Some of you guy,s need to relax. This is strictly an informative posting for XRAY and racer's by a person who fully supports XRAY and actually is serious about racing with way better than average skills. I don't need a lecture from someone who has no clue. I have posted a picture for those who may like to see. There again this was probably a fluke but if it turns out that this should become an issue it might be helpful. By the way this was the first big race of the year for us with the new 808 and the performance was unbelievable. My wife took 3rd place in the Sportsman A main. And I got 4th in Expert B . |

I have newer seen anything like this before. From the pictures and your story, I would think this must be caused by some serious material or design failure. Have XRAY new contractor or factory who make plastic parts? Have the design of the bulk heads or how shock tower is fastened to the bulk head changed from EC? Up to now, I have believed that Xray was using the strongest material on the RC market. I know that in plastic molding can one wrong plastic pearl ruin the hole production. I wish you good luck and surely hope they will overcome all production failure before I buy my XB80x ![]() |
