Hi,

We have open class during onroad races so we can run all kinds of cars... Has anyone raced his buggy/truggy onroad? Which is faster? I think buggy would be faster onroad on asphalt...

Maybe you have some smart tips what tires to use? Like I said, its an open class so basically no rules just go and drive... Is there any onroad wheels that have 17mm hexes to put under a buggy?

Maybe somebody has uploaded his onroad setup to the database?

I would stiffen everything up on the car. Thickest sway bars you can find, hardest springs available from XRAY. Go to the 1.3mm pistons, you may even want to fill 2 of the holes on them.

Kyosho sells the buggy rims and onroad tires that fit on them.

Also lay the shocks all the way in on the tower and go all the way out on the arm and extend the wheelbase all the way.

If you don't mind me asking:

Why are you wanting to race them on pavement? I thought they were supposed to be ran offroad...

Just curious

Saturday we have our offroad championship race and on Sunday onroad championship race. Onroad has the open class for fun and for different cars to run. Its for fun and ... that's it basically! Why not race for fun if you can, sometimes... And its the day after the main race so... don't even have to rebuild the car inbetween. I like the idea and wanna try it out. Others have done it last year with offroad cars.

Also might want to cool down your turning a little to compensate for having more traction.

Which do you mean exactly? Haven't heard of the company before (I'm in Europe), where do you get them from?

This one? http://www.twistertiresusa.com/index.ph ... ucts_id=33

I found foam 1:8 ic buggy/tuggy tires from ebay for 65$ / 4pcs but no company name and no more information...

Check out .

They've got a rally tyre called M01 RALLY. Looks good for on road.

yup that is the place. I got the soft ones and they stick like glue once warmed up but dont last long. the rubber actually gums up on them like a full size drag slick.
be carefull with 1/8th foams. if they are for a 1/8 on road they wont fit your buggy.
