get on the s-grid and check under painting tips. everything you need is there. and most people paint first then cut it out.

| Post subject: | My Xray XB8 is almost ready to rock! |
I'm just waiting on my Airtronics Servos to arrive and I'll be ready to go. I cut out the body last night and will be painting it tonight. It's my first body so I'm just starting off pretty basic. I got some Yellow Krylon Fusion paint (Fusion is supposed to bond pretty good to Lexon from what I've read. Anyone have any experience with it?) and will be painting it on the inside and stickering the outside. I've already washed the body good with Mild Detergent. Any suggestions or techniques you'd like to share with me before I get started tonight? How many coats do you recommend? Howl ong should I wait per coat? etc... Thanks for any responses! |
