Hi guys does any one use a flywheel puller to pull the flywheel off . if so witch one and what brand is is. if not what do u guys use to pull it off . thanks for your help,,,,,,,,,,

I have included a link below of a battery terminal puller that works great for pulling flywheels. It is spring loaded. When you pull it crank down and then it will suddenly pop the flywheel off, dont be scared it works great. Also notice the price. You can get these at auto stores.

I have never purchased a flywheel puller. One thing that does work is a battery terminal puller and can be found at a local auto parts store.

RMV flywheel puller Its mint. Doesn't bruise the threads at the end of your SG shaft like others

I second Mallets response...nothing can replace a purpose-built flywheel puller, and the RMV one is superb.

I just picked up the Axial flywheel puller and it works perfectly, especially for the smaller diameter of the Xray flywheel. Here is a link:

You need to have a purpose built flywheel puller as the other's have posted.

I use the JP racing flywheel puller, but any other will do.

If you are an engine man like myself then have a look at this little package.

I have used the Axials, I did not like how the point went into the threads so I screwed a screw in the crank first, it worked great.

You do when you've got an engine that someone has cooked or has been running their engine too rich as the liner festers on the inside making it nearly imposible to pull out.

I have both the Boss version of the GRP tool kit & also the RMV flywheel puller.

The GRP (Boss, Falcon,orginal Ninja) tools kits are the best on the market as far a a kit for all engine jobs, but the RMV flywheel puller is my favourite.

However if Hudy made a flywheel puller I'm sure it would be the best. (Mario we need a HUDY flywheel puller)
