XRAY - Model racing cars

I have had two radios in a row that had glitching/searching on channel two. The other channels are fine, and the prolem seems to follow channel two on the transmitter. Any ideas why this may be? My LHS is nice enough to order a third one, but now I am nervous about my Futaba working well. Any reassurance would be helpful. thanks Grayalf

I have used a 3PK for about 3 years now and I have never had any problems with glitching in electric, or nitro classes.

If it is the servo in channel 2 try a different servo in that channel, or try that particular servo in a different receiver as it may be the servo/wiring that is causing the problem, and not the receiver/transmitter.

Since I bought my first Futaba about 4 months ago, I have had no problems that have been caused by the radio...

When do you get these glitches? When the car is on or off? It may just be a question of how the servos are mounted.
What servos are you running?

I have tested every position with multiple servos and the issue is Channel 2 on the transmitter. Two seperate radio kits do this.... and the servos are not yet mounted or under any loads. I am using Futaba 9541/9531 digitals, and by the way this is the NEW 3PK Super with sythesizer setup.

Sorry...it was early when I posted. 9351/9451 in the steering/throttle. This is when the radio is on... also tried an 3PM - FM transmitter on channel 84 and it works fine on all the other hardware, so I KNOW the problem is in the transmitters in PCM or HRS modes. Futaba said that its a new problem, they have not seen yet in the Super...

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!!!

3) 3pkS radios all glitch on channel 2. my LHS sent 2 of them back and on the third one i got my money back and bought an M11. i owned a 3pk for 2 years and never once ever had a glitching problem. i ever talked to team futaba reps at rd1 rc pro midwest. team futaba was all using supers with 0 issues. i explained my problem to scott from hobbyco.

also the syn module in the 3PK-P works perfect with the HRS syn receiver no glitches. all the glitching comes from the radio. it occurs in ppm mode, hrs mode, analog servos, and digital servos all the exact same result.

if you take the radio and put it into servo view you can watch channel 2 move like you are pulling the trigger.

i am very disappointed with futaba. the glitch is so bad you can watch the throttle open and close.

the exact same servo on channel 1 will not glitch at all the glitch only occurs on channel 2.

if anyone finds a solution to this i would like to dump this M11 and get my super back!
