The current truggy rear diff fits in the 808 (43T crown gear). So the truggy active diff (which isn't available) will fit in the 808. The oil in the active diff only dictates how the car handles off-power. The lower you go in the front diff, the more off-power steering you will get. |

so its not just a matter of changing the ring and pinion gear on the current EC active dif? I thought that was the only difference between the current buggy and truggy difs. |

What I was hoping is I could just get a new active dif ring and pinion for the active dif I have in my EC and move it to the new 808 when I get one. |
