The new optional lexcen part for the 808 is to stop mud getting between the bottom pivot ball of the shock and the arm connection stop binding. It is primarily for muddy tracks like in Europe. Personally, I don't run in the mud as you spend more time cleaning than driving - 6 hours prep and cleaning to 1 hour driving.

A little bit of dust stuck to oil won't affect operation of your car so I wouldn't be concerned. However, there are three solutions if your that worried;
1) Use a silicone exhaust deflector (Most Revo guys use them due to the rear mounted exhaust) Point it to the ground and problem solved. I'm not sure if it affects performance.
2) Run a little leaner or use fuels with less castor oil or less oil in general
3) Make up your own guard from lexcan. Drill holes through the lexcen into the front of the arms and use 3 X 8 button head screws. The only downside is that under wind loads the lexcen will fold back and could get caught under spring causing binding. So you would have to experiment with different shapes.

I wouldn't worry about it. I just clean with simple green, blow it off, WD 40 on the left arm etc and blow it off. The WD makes it harder for the oil to stick but cause more dust to accumulate. Then I blow it off with the compressor between each round.

Pump your (40 liter) minimum compressor up in the morning. Take to the track. Use a short hose and small nozzle and it should be enough compressed air to last you 5 blasts. Thats if you have no power track side - we never do!

That is maxed out rear droop. Do you find it over steers off power due to the weight moving forward and the rear lifting up into corners?

If so, connect your shocks to the top holes and dial those grub screws in - heaps. It will jump a little different but balanced better in all the corners and give you better lap times.

I run about 20 - 30 mm rear droop using the 30 mm blocks. That would be about 0 or less!

If your concerned about traction in the rough run the anti squat higher.

The mud deflecter is easy to make . Just cut one out of some scrape lexan and use the the sway bar screw and outer hingepin screw to attach it to the lower arm . I have them on both sides of the buggy and truck and they work well , keeps the dirt off of the shocks and wheel bearings well. I will get a pic of them if you want.
