Post subject:  hyper 7 / xb8 owners!! and some general questions
Hoping to get some input from people who own both these buggies. Just wondering what the differences are between these to buggies (i can read all the specs, want driving differences). What are the pros and cons where would you use one over the other.

I have a hyper 7 pbs pro with novarosi 421b, rb 86 pipe, the black plastic hyper starter box. can i use all these for the xray, i hope so. What other parts are interchangble (i'd use xray parts as soon as i could get them).

Getting parts is going to be hard for me to start with, i'm on the north side of brisbane in queensland australia. Let me know of any where close to get parts if you know.

What spares other bits and pieces shpuld i get at the same time i get my xb8 in most to least important order. (what gets lost or breaks first)

Is there any way of making the starter box work for the xray. What stops it from working.

Planning on getting my buggy from rcmushroom, any idea how long to ship to australia? Probally going to get the buggy from them direct i'm assuming you can buy it over the counter there, any one no if the price is different over the counter as aposed to over the net?

It would be nice to buy part locally though, beats waiting for them.

well i have both and the hyper doesnt even compare to the great xb8. the hyper has sloppy steering compared and just to make it short all the other stuff is not as good either. its like a BMW to ESCORT. you will love it and ive used mushroom also fast shipping. there is a post on breakables already. http://www.teamxray.com/xforum/viewtopic.php?t=582
the most important ones are the a-arms in front

Comparing a Hyper 7 pbs to a Xray xb8 is like trying to compare a GT-1 road car to civic...In my opinion.I have owned both cars and I just sold my Hyper 7 pro kit becouse when I got the xb8 I didnt feel like messing with the hyper enymore.As far as driving differences...I think that the hyper 7's cant handle a aggressive racer.They dont corner good enough or have good enough on or off power steering to get the good lap times...I made the local fastest lap time with my hyper 7 pro kit then I broke it by 4.112 seconds with my x-ray...ill let u decide...lol... :wink:
