If the box doesn't line up for the truggy I was looking at this Nova motor with the roto-start. It's underpowered, but I run on a very tight, slippery track.... Would the roto start with this motor work in the XT8. Can you get at the back plate to start it? Thanks again |

the chsssis on the XB8 & XT8 are different lengths, so if your box is spot on for the buggy it will not match your truggy. some people leave one pin out to compromise & move the car around on the box but this can be fiddly if your pit man is not used to it. I run two boxes as i cant be bothered to keep adjusting. As for the rota start never used one so cant commnet to help. Bren |

You could try this, I made a fibreglass tray formed over the chassis then trimmed it to fit then bolted it down the starter box, It fits both XT8 & XB8 so you only need one starter box. i can email you some pics if you need more info I would put the pics on the forum if i new how ![]() or if someone can give me a crash course let me know & will post them.
