You can also use 6,7 mm Hexs... from HotBodies, it works. Awfull colour, but cheap, in Germany they cost 9 Euro a pair. |

Yeah you can run the half-offset (Jammin style) truggy wheels with no issues. It does make the truggy wider than stock and take's away a tiny bit of steering. But's it's not too bad. Here's what it looks like: I also tried it with standard zero-offset (Mugen style) wheels and the truggy turned like you wouldn't believe! But it rubbed the steering link rod-end so I nixed that real quick. Too bad. It was great to drive it like that! and if you get some hubs grab the King Headz 5 mm hubs (part number KP-446+5-BLK). They are the right dimension to keep the truggy its stock width. And they are very nicely made too! I have a set I grabbed from Team Helotes that I can't wait to try this coming April. *EDIT* I just tried fitting the LPRs to the stock truggy and the wheel rubs on the rod end AND the arm rubs the reinforcement ribs on the wheel. A little bit of work with a Dremel could fix it. regards speed metal |
