why not drill the bolts to fit r clips and cut the head off. cut a slot in the top to screw into place sorted cheers rich |

I thought about doing that but its quite a bit of work and I figured Xray might want to know about a simple change that could make their product better. |

Trust me it does not work with radio trays. I had a TM M1B that used that method and it was a pig to pull the tray out. No matter what i did to make it smoother it always seized to the posts. It took way longer to service and wish it had screws. Tank clips sound o.k but they take up too much room and scrape stuff, not good. Everything is getting squeezed closer with every new design, clips are a pain to install in tight spaces too. |

I agree. I'm sure Xray can design a good solution. Actually I've heard nothing but good things about the TM design with the clips for faster and easier removal. That car is really easy to work on. |

for the tank all i did was glue a peice of foam to the bottom and then you can tighten the screws down fine without too much pressure. all you have to do is watch the rubber grommet and stop tightening when it starts to mushroom |

also i had the easy removable tank when i ran a mugen and it has a lot of movement as well. |
