sometimes the ball tipped on will do the job when the square tipped fail. just kinda go slow, good luck. |

did you use thread lock? if so, heat it up real good with a heat gun, then dremel a slot in the head and use a screwdriver...that is what I had to do... |

I use a soldering iron to heat up the screw first. It limits the heat to a more isolated area. |

You can also drill out the screw head with a 3.5mm bit. Once you have seperated the plate from the bellcrank, a pair of pliers will suffice in removing the rest of the screw. |

I bought a screw extracter kit that fits in a drill. It is reversed just like a regular easy out but small enough to fin in the head of the screw. I have never had to use a dremel or flat tip screw driver since i bought these. I bought it from a snap-on tool truck. |
