Hi, I changed the the fuel lines on my TQ. My air filter fits perfectly if I do it this way. I like the lines to be short but I'm really not sure if this is too short... Your feedback is appreciated ! Regards, vincent P.S. Don't get fooled by the 'tank opener'.... |

I read somewhere that the pressure line shouldn't be less than 9 inch to smooth out the pulses. The fuel line was 15 inch but not sure why. I have a lengthy one ( thats right ![]() |

i think that's right, maybe the pressure line its a little bit short, but the os is a 3 port, so maybe it's ok... For example, with my picco (7 port) i need a very long pressure line ![]() |

Daz is right with the pressure line, keep it around the 9 inch to smooth the pulsing, but I've been told to go as little as 4 inch on the fule line side. You are bragging again Daz, my wife didn't say that when she saw it, she was laughing at you ![]() ![]() |

i dont run alot of long fuel lines, i like them short i guess, it is hard to tell the diff in my case, just easier to stay pressurized. even ran them short in gas truck. |

Sorry, I was talking about XT8... and you should always read rules before making changes. Running two fuel filters made the engine lean out quite much with empty fuel-tank. I ran with one fuel filter afterwards and had enough runtime. There are races with different rules and then some tinkering is now-and-then needed. |
