I found the best wheels to practice with are the hong nor ones. They fit the tyre perfectly, not baggy before glueing. It makes the job so easy compared to say the grp wheels which are quite small compared. Also use the very thin glue and take your time. You only need to pull the tyre back enough to drop a small amount in then let it go, with the tyre bands already on. Put one spot on opposite ends of the same face (4 in total like a cross) then leave it and do the other wheels. When you get back to the first you'll be suprised how much the glue has ran round the tyre leaving very little to do but fill in a few dry spots. Repeat on the other faces of the wheels. Have a rag handy and wipe quickly as tyre bands will squeeze quite hard. |

Thin glue=easiest to work with not the strongest bond Thick=hardest to work with strongest bond This is why most use med glue. |

Yeah, that generic Hobby Shop stuff where they personalize those bottles, that is the ONLY stuff I use!!! The light blue thin stuff. But as far as the gluing maching goes, just get some good rubber bands from Panther and man up! Those gluing machines aren't worth the plastic they're made out of in my opinion... |
