What is the point of maximum steering on the XB8

when the front steering block hits the c-hub while turning in either direction is that considered the maximum steering?

because i can continue to turn the wheel in one direction with the arm touching the steering block (the inside steering arm ie. if turning right then the right block touches hub).

if i continue to turn the wheel(increasing EPA) then the wheel lifts a little bit as it turns like it may be hitting wrong... I am simply unsure if this will stress the c-hub or arm, but of course i want maximum steering

should you set the steering EPA with the wheels on the ground or off?
