Good explanation Bren, thats about the same way I look at it. If a track is super blown out then there is only so much you can do so you better start looking for new or the safest lines. JB |

Thanks guys for the detailed outlook. I'm always curious how drivers process decisions. It helps my understand things clearer when its simplified. I think the bulk of the drivers try too hard to power down the blown area's and keep thier finger's crossed. I did notice a small handfull last year riding the pipes down....Perfect idea. I'm going to start with a softer setup and try to pace myself until I figure out some lines going slow. After I get a decent round in, I may go a little heavier and see if I can run that line a little faster. I guess the bottom line is going to be Xtremely conservative no matter what to make a good showing in the Mains. Any other input would be great, but I think Bren summed it up just like I needed to hear. Xray team drivers make the products worth thier weight in gold! |
