Yep - you're not wrong there MDJ! I started work on it last nite, and did the 3 diffs and the assembly of the bulk heads etc. I did notice a slight bedding issue with the centre and rear diffs, but I'm sure they'll be fine. No rush to finish her tho ... got two races left for the season 2007 with the 8.5., so I'll take my time! |

They sure are fun to build. I just built a XT8, now I wanna build another one. I just put together a HPI Savage X SS, nowhere the fun of putting together a X-Ray. Next one you get can I put it together? Looks good, enjoy. |

Started building my XB8 EC on Wed nite, and now that House and Life are both done for 2007, and Law & Order are repeats, I've good heaps of time! lol The diffs went together very easy, but I think I need to bed them a little bit, as the center and front seem to bind in some places, nothing major tho. I'm using bulding it in conjuction with the addendum that came with the manual, and it's spot on. Have an Xray 2 piece mount arriving this week, and then end of December (when racing seaoson ends for 07) I'll dump them motor and radio gear from the Hyper into the Xray. All in all - very happy!! |
