Yea, I tried 2* and 2.5 on my Jammin and ended up at 3*. I love stability if you can't tell already. I think I'm to the point now where I can start sacraficing a little stability for responsiveness. But, if it gets away from me, its 5min back to the lighter oils. I'm almost convinced that the 10K will be perfect. Brian, thanks for the PM. I didn't realizehow much different the Jammin Red's where compared to the Xray light blues. I just knew the Jammin Red's were closest to the Mugen Grey's which the local team driver is running on his XT8 (or at least recommended for me). The Red's are said to be a little more progressive then the Mugen Grey's. I'll order the light blues this winter. I think the slight difference in spring rate will be welcomed. You should have seen the way it mushed through the whoop section at Xtreme Raceway a month ago. No matter how my truck came through there, it just washed right though and barely upset the chassis at all. Just soaked up any mistakes on my part of the track surface. Granted it did react a little slow in the corners. |
