I use the old style 3pk with the original spektrum.. never had any dramas other then glitching when you have the radio within a couple of feet of the aeriel. move it a foot away, its fine. only ever happens in the pit, not on the track.... funny thing, it never happened to me until a friend told me it was happening to him... then it started.... might be a bit off topic.. but.... i bought a pair of ace's... wont ever again... yeah, theyre fast and grunty, but they use ridiculous amounts of power and no-one makes horns, let alone decent horns for them. And before people say use futabu, NO THEY DONT WORK. They are loose ... No matter what i did for the throttle linkages on the xt8, i was not happy with it. so i pulled my trusty old KO out of my now retired kyosho STR and ran that. no dramas... and on the steering, i have never had a screw undo itself in a servo until now... 3 TIMES IN ONE DAY. I've never had to use loctite on a servo until now.. and my 1200mah lipo that normally lasts a day and a half of racing with similar speed/torque KO's went flat on the 2nd last lap of my final.. was coming second until that.
