Hi Guys, what do you think of the bearings mentioned above? Are they way better than the stock bearings that come with the EC? Also, are these virtually maintenance-free? http://www.acerracing.com/bearings.html Thanks for looking! ![]() |

Personally, I'd save the ceramics for engines and put good old Avid Revolutions everywhere else. IMVHO, I just don't think the cost is justified. I get many gallons of use out of the Revolutions for $1.00 a bearing. They roll very smoothly and last a long time. Save the money for fuel, tires, food etc. My $0.02 regards speed metal |

Thanks Robin. Bearings ordered! So ceramic metal or ceramic revolutions for the clutch? |

a rubber seal to the outside is always a good idea in offroad racing. Get the revolutions but I use the regulars not ceramic and replace them every other race. |

I run the ceramics on the diffs, but the outdrives/hubs get the steel bearings. I bougt one of the Acer ceramic kits for another model I had,,they held up for a long time. I still use there micro polishing lube for the bearings. New TKO proprietary bearings for the clutch. those are the ones to get!! |
