XRAY - Model racing cars

I'm cleaning my XT8 slowly but surely and when I reassembled the front suspension and when i reference the manual, I still have slack in the suspension because the suggested clip sizes don't fit. I jammed a few in when I first put the ISS kit on to remove the slack but now I'm curious to what everyone else is using.

None are really going to be the same. The idea is just to remove the gaps but before you clip them in bounce the car up and down to settle it then insert them.

I sanded some of my clips to get perfect fit and bind free. You may find that 1 clip too many is too tight and with out it its too sloppy so you will have to sand one down.

Its not something where another person can say to use "x" number of clips here and there. Its based on your setup and it being bind free then using the clips to remove the gaps left over on the hinge pins.

There is no formula to this and it could vary as much as being different due to your bulk head screws being more tight or not as tight as another persons. So many variables will change how these clips are use and how many to use.
