I use a glowplug to break the motor in, then change it when I go to race tune it. After that, if you have your motor tuned right, they last a LONG time!!! If you keep blowing them out I would change your tune. I typically stick to a couple glow plugs that work for everything: Turbo - nothing but OS P3's NonTurbo - MC-8's and 9's If it doesn't run without the glow warmer replace the plug and if that doesn't help its too rich. |

I go by sound and sight mostly. The lube protection is there because all I run is Odonnell, always a nice trail of smoke. Temp gun for new motor break-in, and then every now and again I will check temps before the mains. Mcoy 8's have never let me down, If I cant get those then the Racers edge 4's. (standard) |

Quick question guys..while tuning my Plus 21-5K, I kinda left it by itself and came back to find it had a temp of 250 for around 3 minutes. I checked and it was still spitting fuel. Did I do any damage to it? I shut it down and let it cool for 5 minutes and it ran just fine with a temp of 200.This was on the 6th tank. |

Nah, you should be alright, it's not too big of a deal. I wouldn't worry about it unless was over 300 for 4 minutes or something like that... |
