I have the 2017 but I can't tell if it's a 2 or 3 chambers. I find that it runs very good with the M5; good balance between low, mid and top end. I can't ask for more. On the other hand I find that the aluminium is kind of soft; each time I race I manage to damage the pipe. And I'm using the GMK Spring thing. Here is what happened couple of weeks ago; Good for me, I know someone that is soldering alu. And here is the job he did; In top of that the stinger gets bent after almost each race day. I need to figure it out what I'm doing wrong to break it! And I don't have collision with other cars, so there is something that I don't get. I'm looking for something more durable. I may try the 086 Hard Anodized from Dynamite. |

That kinda sucks cuz I got one to try. So far it's been used just to break in my Max M5B engine. I hope it lasts. |

The 02017 is a 3 chambered pipe, I don't know anything about the Rossi pipe. |

This is why I am committed to matching a motor with a JP style pipe since those pipes are super durable. My next motor choice is going to be based on what works well with the JP pipe but as of now my B7 pro likes it good enough. I have a Werks pipe that is split underneath in just 2 days super light use and mainly at the track finishing breakin procedure. I am scared of these thin alum pipes now but seeing that pic just affirms that I wont waste my money on another one. |
