hey guys!

On an XB808 '09 spec I was wondering if it is possible to trim off the locator pin of the rear body mount post and lower it to the hole below.
It should be safe only I am concerned that the post 'might' rotate?
Or I could drill another hole in the rear shock tower for the locator pin so it still functions just now lower.

Has anyone done this?
I could have sworn i saw one done in austria last year and it had a rubber seal between the mount and the tower to allow some give? but I didnt ask at the time and cant remember how it was done.

Thanks in advance!
Nick

certainly it can be done. And it probably would be better if you drilled another hole for the locator pin but its not needed. before the new longer body mounts came out we were spacing the mounts out so far that the locator pin didn't make a difference
